MOTUKARARA | 17KM

Enter the 17km run and enjoy running from Motukarara to the village of Lincoln, enjoying ever-changing scenery and a nice flat course.

This course takes you alongside the rich soils of Selwyn and the busy farms that make up this part of the district. You will run on a mixture of roads and trails, including a stunning section of country lane before you pop out near the Lincoln Wetlands. 

The final section of the course is within the Lincoln Village. You get to explore around the Lincoln Wetlands, as well as the Liffey walkways, underneath trees and alongside fresh springs. You then come out right in the middle of the Lincoln Village and take the final stretch to the Finish Line at the Lincoln Domain.
The 17km event is a great mid-distance run and a nice step up from the traditional 10km events. The course is fast and flat, with a great variety of scenery.
